Copper & lead-free mirror is also known as an eco-friendly silver mirror because it does not contain a copper or lead layer. These heavy metals can have harmful effects on the environment during production and use. To address this, the industry has been seeking alternative materials to replace copper in the production of silver mirrors.

Our copper & lead-free silver mirror is made using a similar assembly line as conventional silver mirror. The process involves creating a silver reflective layer on the glass surface, followed by applying a spray-on organic silicone curing agent to passivate the silver layer and protect its physical and chemical stability. We then use a painting machine to apply FENZI’s acid-resistant and high-hardness waterproof primer and topcoat, respectively, to complete the production of the silver mirror. This paint does not contain lead and ensures the anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance of the silver reflective layer while maintaining its reflectivity.

The production process of our copper & lead-free silver mirror effectively overcomes the environmental pollution caused by the use of copper sulfate displacement reactions in traditional silver mirror processes. It avoids radiation from heavy metals such as copper and lead, making it truly green and eco-friendly.
