Essentially, painted glass is a type of printed glass made from high-quality clear or ultra clear float glass, which is coated with a layer of high-strength and durable paint on its flat and smooth surface. The paint is baked at a constant temperature to permanently bond it to the glass. Painted glass has all the benefits of ordinary float glass, plus wonderful opaque and colorful decorative options.
Compared to other types of glass, painted glass does not need to undergo high temperatures during processing. This means that organic pigments can be used in the paint, resulting in more vivid and diverse colors. The glass is created by applying different colored enamel (low-temperature glaze) or vitreous enamels onto the entire surface of the glass using a roller printing machine, resulting in a smooth, uniform, and easy-to-clean surface.
