Our high-end and durable silver mirrors are produced using the chemical silver plating method on a fully automated production line. The production of silver mirror undergoes a meticulous process.

First, the glass sheets are cleaned and polished with pure water to ensure they are free from any impurities. Next, they are sensitized with a stannous chloride solution and activated with palladium chloride and silver nitrate solutions. The glass is then coated with freshly prepared silver-ammonia and reducing solutions onto the glass substrate. After a brief oxidation-reduction reaction lasting 2-3 minutes, a reflective silver coating is formed on the surface of the glass. To protect the silver layer, the glass is uniformly sprayed with a copper sulfate solution and a reducing agent, producing a dense and uniform copper layer.

On our production line, the copper layer is carefully washed with ionized water and dried. A primer containing lead is evenly applied to the copper surface using a paint spraying machine, followed by even application of a topcoat over the primer using a second paint spraying machine. The production line continues until the topcoat is completely dried, resulting in a high-quality silver mirror glass.
